Government says "No" to Eskom and "Yes" to the People.
It was a sigh of relief when we heard the news that Eskom’s application to build new power stations was rejected. Basically it boils down to the fact that Eskom should get their house in order and maximize that which they already have.
Then, follow an invitation for entrepreneurs and independent power suppliers to get involved and sell their excess power to eskom.
But what does this mean for ordinary South Africans?
It boils down to that anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit have an opportunity to help solve our power shortage. The energy supplier can’t do it on their own, the government can’t do it on their own, and neither can the individual. But a combined effort can make a difference.
This is an opportunity for everyone to get involved. But how?
